THE ORIGIN

See the Territory
From the First Navigators
to a New Beginning

Indigenous Mastery
(500 AD - 1492)
The first Caribbean navigators called this place sacred. They followed the rivers inland and the stars back home.

Age of Exploration
(1493)
Columbus anchored here. His journals described the bay’s perfect shelter and emerald hills.

Maritime Golden Age
(1600s-1700s)
Traders and explorers used this hidden harbor to repair ships and seek calm between journeys.

The Future Unfolds
(Today)
Grupo Abrisa now begins the next chapter: transforming this untouched headland into a model for thoughtful, low-density living.

Where Mountains Meet the Sea
Rincón Bay stretches from a white-sand shoreline to forested ridges that look toward Cabo Cabrón. Four landscapes define its future.

More than a coastline.
A world of its own.
Four natural realms form the Rincón Bay masterplan, it blends privacy and panorama in one connected landscape.

The Beach
2.45 km of pure shoreline facing the sunrise.

The River
Caño Frío cuts through the land like a silver line on an old chart, its waters marking the boundary between coast and forest.

The mountain
Elevated ridges with panoramic views.

The Reserve
Cabo Cabrón National Park, the project’s northern boundary and its natural guardian.

The Vision
The most exclusive barefoot ultra-luxury development in the Caribbean. A sanctuary defined by geography. This is not a resort. This is a legacy for the few who arrive first. 3,800 keys across 700 hectares. World-class hotels. Integrated villages.

The Vision
Rincón Bay is being shaped as a low density, world class sanctuary where land, sea, and wellness come together with intention.
The masterplan includes three distinct hospitality spaces for leading global hotel brands, a golf experience by a renowned designer, and residential areas that preserve privacy, balance, and the rhythm of nature.
Led by Grupo Abrisa, the vision is guided by clarity, restraint, and a commitment to creating a place where life slows, senses open, and home feels deeply restorative.
